“ I’ve been a regular for more than a year and decided it’s time for a review! I don’t have enough words for how friendly, accommodating and thoughtful everyone here is. They will make you feel warm and welcome everytime! You will not be disappointed, they have some of the best coffee around here! ”
“ I absolutely love this coffee spot! The customer service is always amazing, and every visit is just a great experience overall. I usually go for the White Lightning or The Bird iced — both are super delicious. The owner is awesome too! He gave my husband and me a really cool coffee tasting experience with a few espresso shots to try, and it totally changed my husband’s mind about their coffee. Definitely one of our favorite places to grab coffee! ”
“ After moving to Duluth last year, I was told I had to check out Coffee That Matters, and I’m so glad I did! Their signature Latte30 has become a must-have for me; every time I return to Duluth from a trip, I stop by for one to feel like I’m truly back home. To me, that is the coffee that matters. Today, despite their rewards program ending a while ago, they offered me a free drink. I didn’t have any cash on hand to tip, but their kindness left such an impression on me. It's these thoughtful gestures that mean so much as a customer, and I’ll definitely pay it forward next time. Highly recommend it for anyone who values not just great coffee but also exceptional service! ”
“ Drove 15 miles out of my way to try this place. Super attractive novel menu options. I opted for an americano and thought the shot quality could have been a bit better. But that was made up for by the attentive, kind, and helpful staff. Lots of seating options and would be a great spot for meeting with friends or colleagues. The roaster is just .5 miles away, so the coffee is quite fresh. ”
“ When I say I want a brisket sandwich, this is what I mean. THIS is my new standard. What did I do to deserve such a wonderful treat? As I work in the area, I’ve visited this coffee shop quite a few times in the past. Not only has their cold brew continued to challenge my idea of what coffee even is, but their Panama Black is the quintessential pique of cold brew black coffee for me. I recently learned that they started serving lunch and decided to make today the second day in a row I’d visit, because Fridays are their Sammie of the Week (day). Their special was the brisket sandwich, and at 13.95.. I hesitated. It’s not a lot for a brisket sandwich, but guys, this is a coffee shop, so my expectations were set as such. Anyway, thanks to Sean (awesome name, btw!), I decided to follow through on why I even came here for a second day in a row. And wow, am I blown away. The simple treatment of freshly cracked black pepper over the tomatoes, the crisp pickles that rivaled those I’ve had from artisnal delis, and the 5!!!! Slabs of brisket on my sandwich, made this an absolute no brainer. If you love brisket, you HAVE TO GET THIS SANDWICH (if they do it again). I mean, guys, they even paid attention to the way they sauteed the onions. I will say, I can see a world in which the BBQ sauce is hit or miss, as it is definitely a vinegar-forward BBQ sauce. I would taste test before applying. This isn’t just a spot for coffee that matters. It’s a place for experiences that will redefine what you think of a coffee shop. I cannot speak highly enough of this establishment, and it sure is nice I no longer have to go all the way to Marietta to find a wonderful roaster! ”
“ Stopped here on a trip through duluth/buford area. Didnt know what to expect, but it sure wasnt the amazing experience I had! The owner came out to my car to take my order, my gosh- He was so extremely kind, and a VERY good salesmen! I havent seen good service like this in a while, might I add how awesome the food looks and tastes! Will definitely make the drive again! ”
“ Our first experience at Coffee that matters was phenomenal. Our trip to Georgia was off to a great stop w/ a quick coffee stop at this awesome coffee shop. The coffee is amazing and we loved it! ”
“ First time here. I walked in and was immediately welcomed in by the owner. He told me about brisket tacos that they had for today only so obviously I was going to order them. They were AMAZING. I wanted a cold brew and they have two different kinds and he broke down the difference. Currently drinking the coffee as I type this, it’s amazing as well. You have a new regular customer! Go out of your way to come here. It’s worth it ”
